Industrial Session - Machine Intelligence and Big Data in the Industry

Scope and Objectives
The industrial session of the PREMI2015 will be devoted to Machine Intelligence and Big Data in the Industry. The goal of this session is to create a space for exchange of ideas between the leading researchers and industry practitioners. Presented work should be innovative and at the same time target specific practical problems or business requirements. Architectures, tools and practical implementations of the topics described below are also of interest to this session.
Topics of interest include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Big Data
- Commercial applications of linked open data
- Knowledge discovery and data mining from production data
- Knowledge visualization
- Mobile applications and collaborative mobile spaces
- Cloud computing
- Digital libraries
- Web technologies
- New approaches to database and knowledge management systems
- Data transmission
- Applications of context-aware computing
- Digital content adaptation
- Applications of Intelligent information systems
- Medical applications and Bioinformatics
Paper Submissions
Authors are invited to submit original unpublished manuscripts that demonstrate current research on one of the session topics of interest.
Papers should be prepared using the Springer LNCS/LNAI style with 8-20 pages. All submitted papers will be reviewed by the members of the industrial session PC. Accepted papers will be published in the edited book published in the Springer Series Studies in Computational Intelligence (www.springer.com/series/7092)
